HENKIE IN ROTTERDAM + FOTOCOVER GIVEAWAY

Henkie wanted to discover my new hometown called Rotterdam. (For the people who think “who the f*ck is Henkie”: he’s my new pet. Or let’s say surrogate pet, designed by Eva Mouton because I can not take care of a real fish at the moment.) Yes the big move will be on October 1st and I’m looking forward like crazy!

I met up with Arend from Fotocover a couple of weeks ago, I was happy to get the chance to see the company up close. And fearing a totally China based production couldn’t be more wrong. Looking for a sweatshop free iphone case: fotocover.be! I’ll not tell you their secret but they managed to keep the production in-house so they can assure high quality and crazy fast delivery. But this is also why they even could start with the business in the first place. From an on-the-side/just-for-fun experiment it grew into a real business and Arend and Bram got the chance to make it their full time job (check out their business Monkey Monkey for even more cool projects). Now their orders are growing every day, ready to conquer the world because who doesn’t want a customized Iphone cover.

I had the chance to pick out a cover and it was a very easy chose. Nothing custom made for me, Eva Mouton already did an amazing jobs with her designs for Fotocover. If you are into dinosaurs, flamingos and other animals -> check it out! My verdict after a few weeks of intense use and a good amount of bumps and drops: that sh*it is for real! No scratches – no corners broken – no nothing.
