Swedish blue and Finnish orange
Honest Fashion
I’ve never been a fan of wearing gloomy clothes, especially orange is my weakness. It’s bright, happy and has a positive influence on my mood.
The pants are from Marimekko, a Finnish design classic. The fabric/print has kind of a melancholic meaning to me since it always has been present somewhere around my parental home.
A week ago I had the pleasure to Anne, the founder of Supergoods; a sustainable concept store in Mechelen. Although I love anything sustainable, I’m still struggling with the fashion part so I was very excited to see what they had in store. Wearing my other Marimekko find, a beautiful scarf, we immediately where of for a great start since Anne is from Finland. She guided me through all the stores amazing clothes and other stuff like beauty products, shoes and even swimwear.
My eyes fell on this beautiful Veja sneakers —to be honest I was eyeing them for while already— with matching Swedish Stockings socks. Both eco friendly made, both in Swedish blue. Epic match I would say.
The Veja’s are quite the hustle to break in, the blisters are real. But apparently it’s worth it and I’m not giving up yet!
More Supergoods supergoods (get it?) are on the way — and yes it’s fashion! And if you are interested to visit the store yourself, be sure to drop by the in Mechelen or Ghent!
