CRUESLI, THE PIMPED OUT VERSION
Honest Fashion
To prevent you all from thinking I only eat pancakes I introduce you a new recipe. Every morning I eat my homemade cruesli by the recipe of Rens Kroes. I’ve always really liked cruesli but because of the crazy amount of sugar in the supermarket kind I stopped eating it. This healthy version is ideal to start your day!
What do you need?
400gr oat flakes
100gr Muesli flakes (easy and cheap way to ad all kind of flakes)
2 tbsp of coconut oil
3 tbsp of biological honey
1 tbsp of sesame
1 tbsp of chia seeds
1 tbsp of sunflower seeds
2 tbsp of coconut flakes
2 tbsp of almond flakes
Melt the coconut oil and the honey in the microwave (30 seconds maximum!) and mix it together carefully so everything is equally covered by the honey and the coconut oil. Put it on a baking tray in a preheated oven of 180°C. Hustle everything every five minutes until it looks golden brown and crunchy (20-30 minutes). Take the tray out the oven and let it cool off. Now you can add whatever you like to finish it. I added dried bananas, figs, dates and raisins but also goji berries, dried peach and so much more is possible!
Now enjoy you big bowl of happiness with some yoghurt or milk (I prefer rice milk) and you’ve found the perfect way to start your day!
