Winter left me feeling blue. Oh wait, winter doesn’t seem over yet.
There’s something about feeling blue. For me it’s kinda comforting, it’s life at it’s realest without pink filters or unicorns. And what are ups without the downs?
Although it doesn’t feel like it’s allowed. Not feeling perfectly fine or happy or whatever level of perfection we all like to thrive on doesn’t feel allowed. It scares others to share in those doubting emotions.
But why?
It is confronting to be pointed out that life is not always perfect, so we rather avoid it. Fine by me, I just find me some nice bright colours, the perfect bomber and embroidered culottes. Definitely the best cure!
