POLETTE GIVEAWAY

My obsession over glasses is already a already a fact and it’s not over yet! I was asked by the people from Polette to review a pair of glasses from their webshop. Polette is a french company that sells a big range of glasses at (very) affordable prices. How you may ask? Since they are the only intermediate between the factory and the customer there are no such things as high margins and they can keep the prices low. This is really a godsend for people that need to wear glasses and can not afford the usual 300 euro (at least). But also if you like to change it up sometimes or want matching glasses to your outfit this can be really intresting!

I picked the model called Perle, for the moment it’s sold out but hopefully back soon, these round glasses in transparant acetate couldn’t fit any better. Unlike what I read in reviews of fellow bloggers I had no problems at all with the fit. But I had quite another (big) bump in the road. Since only my right eye needs glasses, most of the time I’m asked to reconfirm my prescription so no mistakes are made. This wasn’t the case when I ordered these ones and when I first putted them on I realised the glasses where switched. Luckily changing them was not a problem at all thanks to some explanation from the staff and the fact I have no cilinder. Still, this is not a mistake you should make as a glasses company.

My conclusion?

I would absolutely recommend you Polette since the quality of the frame is in my opinion pretty good (you can not go wrong with some good old acetate) and apart from the few hick ups I’m really happy with this new pair. I’ve been wearing them non stop for a week now and no complains at all!
