STICKY CINNAMON ROLLS
After three times trying to succeed in mastering the sticky cinnamon rolls as close to the ones I tasted in Berlin at Zeit für Brot I finally did! An euphoric moment in my cooking life because I normally don’t have that much of a hard time with making something new. These rolls on the other hand really became an obsession: the right amount of fluff, sugar, cinnamon and stickyness gave me headaches (I’m exaggerating) but I got there.
The recipe I used is a mix between the recipe of Minimalist baker, an amazing website with the best recipes ever and they normally are really easy! Sadly enough this wasn’t totaly working for me so I combined it with a random recipe from the web.
I made kind of a healthy version by substituting butter by coconut oil and using soy milk. You can go even further by using not just white flour and using coconut sugar instead of brown sugar. If you want to switch it up totally you can change the filling by using chocolate, jam of whatever you like!
Tip: Keep them in the freezer and heat up whenever you like!
P.S.: You can download the recipe as a pdf and easily print out on A5!
