So you must wonder after all those places you can’t shop ethically, where can I buy sweatshop free clothes? I will prepare you a list soon but for now be sure to mark 20/04 – 26/04 in your agenda’s because it’s the time of the designer stocksales again!
Two times a year the Belgian brands sell their leftovers from the past seasons for a very good price. From fabrics to shoes and handbags, you can find it all. And yes most of it is sweatshop free so it’s the ideal opportunity to get some ethical shopping done. Since last year Belmodo is in charge of these so called Belmodo Fashion Days in Antwerp. And to make it a bit easy for you they made a map with al the places you can go. Be sure to prepare your hunt since you can never do everything on one day (believe me, I tried).
I will be on the hunt at Maison Martin Margiela, Dries van Noten, Annelies Timmermans, Ann Demeulemeester and Rosier 41, hopefully finding some good deals.
