VENICE BIENNALE 2014
Honest Fashion
This summer, or should I say last summer already, I went to Venice to visit the architecture biennale. This years theme named Fundamentals curated by Rem Koolhaas really interested me, enough to jump on a plane and go there.
My overall impression of the biennale? I was really asthonished by the exhibitions in the pavilions of all the different countries located in de Giardini garden. If you have the chance to visit it, please do because it’s such a beautiful location that most of the people visiting Venice never go to. But the other part located in the Arsenale disappointed me a lot, way too much stuff cramped in one room after another. Although the site of the Arsenale is amazingly beautiful, this part of the biennale was really sad.
You can still visit the Venice biennale until the 23th of November. Be sure to check out the website and everything that’s happening before you go. This saves you a lot of time and prevents you from being crazy tired when you get home (been there done that)!
